Quick tips
- Best starting points: TET (free, massive coverage) and ACT (curated for bigger bikes) are the two essentials.
- Bike matters: TET is more demanding; ACT is friendlier to GS-class bikes; Wikiloc has everything from light enduro singletrack to gravel.
- Always verify legality locally — track legality changes year to year, especially in Italy, France (forest fire restrictions in southern departments June–September), and Germany.
- Consider OsmAnd or Locus Map for offline navigation with imported GPX.
